Wo? UJZ Karlshorst, Hönower Str. 30, 10318 Berlin

Diesen Monat öffnet die UJZ-Bibliothek am 4. Sonntag des Monats! Auch wenn das schöne Wetter lockt, laden wir euch ein, zum Schmökern, Vernetzen und die eine oder andere Tasse Tee trinken vorbei zu kommen!
Helft uns, einen coolen (wenn auch etwas abgelegenen) Ort wieder zu beleben, bestehende Ressourcen zur staatsunabhängigen Bildung zu nutzen und mit uns zusammen zu entdecken, was noch alles in den tiefen der Bücherregale wartet – und schaut euch gerne den Katalog auf der Website an, wenn euch was Bestimmtes interessiert!
Wir freuen uns auf euch!

Sprachen:
Die meisten Bücher sind auf Deutsch, mit einigen spanischen und englischen Texten.

Barriereinfos:
Das Gebäude hat eine Rollstuhlrampe, die Bibliothek ist aber leider im ersten Stock ohne Fahrstuhl.

This month the UJZ library opens on the 4th sunday of the month!
Even though the good weather is tempting, we invite you to come by to browse trough the books, connect and drink a few cups of tea!
Help us revitalize a cool (albeit somewhat remote) place, use existing resources for non-governmental education, and discover with us what else is waiting in the depths of the bookshelves—and feel free to check out the catalog on the website if you’re interested in something specific!

Languages:
Most books are in German, with some Spanish and English texts.

Accessibility info:
The building has a wheelchair ramp, but unfortunately the library is on the first floor without an elevator.⁩

Wir laden euch herzlich zu einem gemütlichen Abend zu uns ein. Wir haben eine Auswahl an Brett- und Kartenspielen und einen Kicker bei uns aber ihr könnt natürlich auch eure Lieblingsspiele (und Freund*innen) mitbringen.

Noch keine Pläne für die kalten Wintersonntage? Kommt ins UJZ Karlshorst für heißen Tee und nettes Schmökern in unserer frisch sortierten Bibliothek. Zwischen neuen queeren Romanen, alten linken Texten, Klassikern der Weltliteratur und einer bunten Sammlung Zines ist für alle was dabei! Helft uns, einen coolen (wenn auch etwas abgelegenen) Ort wieder zu beleben, bestehende Ressourcen zur staatsunabhängigen Bildung zu nutzen und mit uns zusammen zu entdecken, was noch alles in den tiefen der Bücherregale wartet – bald hoffentlich mit vollständigem Katalog auf der Website, bis dahin aber als Überraschung.

No plans for the cold winter Sundays yet? Come to UJZ Karlshorst for hot tea and a nice browse through our freshly sorted library. Between new queer novels, old left-wing texts, classics of world literature and a colorful collection of zines, there’s something for everyone! Help us revive a cool (albeit somewhat remote) place, use existing resources for non-governmental education, and discover with us what else is waiting in the depths of the bookshelves—hopefully soon with a complete catalog on the website, but until then as a surprise.

Wir sind ein selbstverwaltetes Jugendzentrum im Osten Berlins und wollen endlich wieder Leben in die Bude bringen!
